Here is the first post of 2012. I think I bought this ivory coat in Korea before I moved to New York so that's about 5 years ago. I still love its flare fit with cropped sleeves and plush textured alpaca fabric. Usually, I wear a pair of long gloves to cover the bare wrists but it was not too cold so I decided to wear the short frill trimmed ones from Portolano.
The fur hat is another my recent vintage catch and I am just in love with it. I got it from a vintage shop nearby Liverpool station in London and have been wearing it basically everyday. The only downside is that the hat leaves a big mark across my forehead whenever I take it off. It's quite embarrassing to be sitting at the restaurant rubbing my giant forehead an a vain attempt to get rid of the mark.
Oh well, relatively a small price to pay compared to the joy I get out of wearing it :p
I took a bunch of photos on new year's eve party hosted at our friend's restaurant in SoHo but all came out pretty bad. Whoever was taking the photos (most likely Scott) must have been intoxicated with too much wine and so was I not to correct the camera settings right. How was your night? Did you have a good time? I must say 2011 was one of the best years ever with all the trips I made, the beautiful wedding in France, family reunion in Korea, blog growing everyday and shooting a campaign for Kmart to name a few. I feel so happy and blessed for everything that I got to experience last year whether it was good or bad. I've learned and grown a lot from it and pretty sure this year will offer even more exciting and fulfilling adventures to all of us. Once again, I'd like to thank YOU for taking the time to visit my blog. I wish you happy and healthy new year with lots of love, joy and laughter.
