For the first time ever since Scott and I moved to our new home in Williamsburg, I finally freed myself from slaving over openend housework. Who knew that moving could be this difficult????? But looking at the apt getting put together little by little is such a rewarding feeling. Here are some of the long overdue Mercedes-Benz fashion week photos. Richard Chai show was amazing. The music was awesome (the Smiths' How Soon Is Now) and I was so fascinated by his collection of a balanced mixture of heavy-duty wools with florals and urban stripes, oversized blazers with pleated palazzo pants, and the dominating palette of navy, gray and
black with a splash of red and tie-dye.
Just loved the delicate combination of masculinity
new arrival in my store I wanted to share with you. This jacket has
been great for recent weather condition in NYC (how unusually warm it
has been here except for the last weekend). If you followed my blog
long enough, you could tell how much I love feminine stuff: flare
shapes, ruffle details, pleats and so on and so forth. I love its fit
and flare shape (slim fitted top and double layered flare bottom) and
the wrap closure on the side. I threw a pair of oversized shades and
brown pumps for some retro look.
to Marc by Marc Jacobs show later this afternoon (thanks to Youngsu
unnie). My memory card is literally full of all the fashion week photos
but I dare not to open it yet. So far I went to Richard Chai, Nolcha
fahion show and Rebecca Taylor. All of them were so inspiring and full
of pieces I wanted to steal for the next season.
you have any special plans for the Valentine's day? I wish you and your
loved ones to have a day full of love, happiness and joy. Happy Valentine's day!
Oh lord, I came down with flu for the last few days and finally
put myself together for NYFW. I got lucky to get a hold of couple of big
shows and super excited to share with you soon. Seriously, how do other bloggers manage to do live time post and
streaming? I'm not good at multitasking so I need to just enjoy the show for now and think about blogging later.
With moving to Brooklyn, fashion week, and Scott's birthday (it's today), I had hardly any
time to sit still in front of computer doing work but I'm very excited for
all the exhilarating experiences ahead of me and looking forward to share with you
soon. Make sure to follow me on Instagram and/or Twitter (@misspouty) for some live updates and snaps :)
In the meantime, new
tweed blazer and denim patchwork pants are arrived at the store now. What do you think
of them? I like the neon multicolor accents of the jacket (not to mention the
chain embellishment trim details). The pants are really phenomenal and I am convinced
they are going to be my new favorite for a while. I love the denim patchwork and
zipper details and it's got everything I wanted: the comfort of the leggings and the fit of the pant.
I was born and raised in Seoul and now reside in Brooklyn & Springs, New York with the love of my life, my husband and two beautiful shelties. My passion for fashion, travel and photography resulted in MISSPOUTY BLOG, which is to document personal snaps and thoughts. I love anything and everything spicy and cannot live without kimchi.
