Welcome July!

forever 21 denim shorts
black martine sitbon satchel bag
fendi espadrilles

This is my pre 4th of July celebratory outfit :)  I was down with flu for the last couple of days and ugh it's no fun being sick in the middle of the Summer.  After days of sniffling, lying in bed crying over some sappy novels and Vietnamese pho deliveries, I finally feel a bit better and now getting ready for the 4th of July festivities.   It oddly falls on Wednesday this year, which gives you all the excuses to party with friends two weekends back and forth. Yeah!

Oh and don't forget to enter the giveaway to win this Madeline dress on my Facebook page.
Happy Friday :D

Nautical Chic

Here is another nautical inspired outfit on a typical summer day in Williamsburg. You see how much  I love love stripes? ;)  Loving the sporty and casual combo of an easy breezy stripe cotton top paired with simple shorts.  To add a little bit more feminine and formal touch, I threw a pair of matching nautical espadrilles and bold multicolor chain necklace on.  The icing on the cake here is though my new perfect ivory satchel bag from Black Martine Sitbon.

It's a recently launched Korean label with one of the most established French designer Martine Sitbon who was the creative force of Chloe in the 80's and 90's.  Its philosophy is to reflect the essence of French chic (simple, elegant and romantic) in a more contemporary and witty way.  Here are some of the designs I've been drooling all over (click here to browse more).

How do you like it??

Hello, It's Me! (Giveaway)

Jeffrey Campbell wedge sandals
Tom Ford sunglasses

I know these are rather too many photos for one outfit but I just couldn't sort them down to a few when each one of them look just as candid as the others.  I've been blogging on and off for almost two years now and I've learned photography never fails to capture the mood and ambiance of the moment when it's taken.  It comes out good when I feel comfortable and happy about my outfit and vice versa.  Sometimes I try more experimental things and photos don't come out as good probably because I feel it's not me or somewhat uncomfortable in the clothes I'm wearing.

This is one of those outfits I feel very comfortable and felt it suits my personality.  Love the combination of the sailor inspired summer dress with very simple and minimal satchel bag (which I'm obsessed with these days).  I top it off with rolled up brim straw hat and cork wedge for more rustic countryside look.
